About The Site
The focus here is on the Internet itself; how best to use it, what to use it for, and where to find stuff. The user emphasis is on ‘micro-business’ owners, particularly self-employed and ‘work-from-home’ people. The main areas covered are Business Resources, Email and Usenet, Security Resources, Website Resources and Internet assistance including ebook resources, free stuff sites, PC resources and so on. Even if you’re not a business person, you’re still sure to find something useful that strikes a chord for you here because there’s so much of it!
One reason for this is that we have been online since the time the video below (taken from a Canadian TV news program) was recorded over a decade ago. Take a look at it. The most amazing things about it are (1) the wonder that it evoked when it was broadcast and (2) the realization to us now of the many enormous advances that have been made in the short time since then.
