In the FAT tutorial we advised you to create a 'storage' file (a spreadsheet or similar) to keep all the information required to run your FAT system together in one place. This is one such file, though probably not a very useable one for most people. It's written in HTML, which means it can have clickable links and also makes copying easy (right-click in any text box, choose Select All, right-click again and choose Copy). However, unless you understand HTML and have a server to run it on, you won't be able to store information properly with it.
A better way still is to use a spreadsheet, which allows you to enter lots of information very easily and, of course, you don't need a server. We have included an example of this as well (fat_data.xls) in case you have Microsoft Excel or a suitable alternative such as Calc, which is part of Open Office (Calc will convert from the Excel format with no trouble).
If you are totally tech-challenged then you might want to use a plain text file. You can then refer to this, or the xls file, as an example of what sort of data you need to record and how. Remember, both this and fat_data.xls are examples only to give you an idea of what sort of information you need to store and what it should look like. If you use one of these, you need to replace the data with that supplied exclusively for your use.
